Nashville, TN – September 3, 2014 – Multi-Platinum singer/songwriter Dierks Bentley is the most nominated male artist for the 48th Annual CMA Awards. Bentley was nominated in the following categories: Male Vocalist of the Year, Album of the Year for RISER, Song of the Year for “I Hold On,” Single of the Year and Music Video of the Year, both for country music’s biggest song of the summer, “Drunk On A Plane.”
The five nominations follow a multi-week No. one at country radio with Bentley’s smash hit, “Drunk On A Plane,” which was named one of the “10 Best Country Songs of 2014” by Rolling Stone. It is the second consecutive No. one hit off his critically acclaimed album RISER on Capitol Records Nashville, which continues to earn praise from critics.
